Gehrmans Musikförlag

Gehrmans Musikförlag was founded in 1893 and is today one of the leading music publishers in Scandinavia. During the 1930′s and 1940′s works by many of the greatest Scandinavian composers of our time, such as Lars-Erik Larsson, Hugo Alfvén and Dag Wirén, and their classic works were added to the company’s collection of publications. Choral music also began to acquire increasing importance in its repertoire. July 1999 saw the merge of Gehrmans and Sveriges Körförbunds Förlag. As a result, the two most important choir catalogues are to be found at Gehrmans.
